My name is Alexandra, I am 12. I am a New Zealand born Australian. I am in year 7 at school. Most of my time when I am not at school I am at the gym training Rhythmic Gymnastics.

I've been doing RG since I was 6 and I can't imagine myseld without it. Right now I am in an elite squad and in Level 8 Junior (International Junior level for under 13 y.o)

Last year was very eventful for me and I managed to take home at least 1 gold medal from every competition I have entered.

My biggest achievements were :

All around champion at "Vitri Cup 2013" in Lloret de Mar - Spain.

Australian Gymnastics Championship 2013 ball, hoop and clubs champion.

New Zealand Gymnsport Championship 2013/Australian Level Tour - 2 gold 2 silver medals.

3rd year in a row Victorian (state) RG Championship 2013 All-around champion.

Prahran Invitational tournament All around champion.

This year I have defendend my Victorian Champion title with taking 4 gold medals.

The highlight of my last year was training in Bulgaria for 3 weeks with world's best Rhythmic Gymnasts from Russia. Some of those Gymnasts are World champions and Olympic champions.

Training in Bulgaria gave me motivation. My dream is to rise to a level of Olympics and become an Olympic champion and World Champion in future.

To get closer to my dream I need to take part in competitions of a higher profile competing against girls from other countries. My parents do everything they can to help me to achieve my targets and they constantly involved in Gymnastics. They also volunteer at my club.

Last year they paid over $30,000 for my gymnastics travel and training and that is not including my expensive leotards that cost $800 each. I do have a facebook page that you can check, it has most information about my gymnastics life. I also have some great videos of me training and competing. It would be really nice if this fundraising will help me to travel to Spain and later to Croatia for a gymnastics Camp.
