Design and customize with the certainty of a handmade and ethical manufacture !

 I am David Genest, 42 years old, dad of 3 nices little boys ! I am a baseball coach. I have been formed in Pomona College (CA). During the 90, I organized MLBI camps in France, played for a European Selection in California, tried out for the Reno Chuckars and was an associated scout for the Atlanta Braves. Lately, I was responsible of a baseball concentration in Montreal (Qc). 

I am also leading a e-business career for about last 10 years, I managed a company specialized in sporting goods retail. Durint this time, I discovered the reality behind the brands : the marketing costs, the pressure on manufacturers, employees exploitation, the margins which are bigger and bigger...

At a time, I realized that I couldn't be a part of this system anymore and I decided to try to do something at my level.

As a baseball passionate, I started to work WANTED. This is the project of an E-brand. E means 2 things : Ethic and Electronic

ETHIC : I found a partner in Taïwan who is respecting and considering his employees very well. The manufacture is doing gloves for 25 years. And this is the first time that someone is paying a higher price for products !

ELECTRONIC : I am using all my knowledge in e-shop to developp a website. In this website, clients will be able to design their glove online, change colors of shell, laces...

Using Internet allows to minize costs linked to logistic and marketing. This money saved is putting in glove production.

My goal is to make sure that Wanted gloves are at the real value for money. Players who will use Wanted gloves will be a part of a change. They will be able to say : I pay the right price and I know that the man who made the glove, is not exploited !

How Wanted gloves are made ?

After production, a first quality control is made in Asia. Then your glove is shipped to a second quality control in north american. To end, your glove is shipped to you :) . It would take 3-4 weeks for the whole process.

WHERE AM I IN THE PROGRESS OF THE PROJECT

The website is almost ready. I already invest about $5000 in it.

Now, it is time for me to end the website and release it.

I found a partner in Canada for the calling center and the logistic. And my start up will be incorporated in Delaware.

With only a total of $10 000, ($5000 raised with crowdfunding) : it is possible to make an ETHIC step in the sport economy. I did my best but I need your support to realize my dream.
