Coxless Rowers's Project(s)

Coxless Rowers

"Video introducing the project... We are a team of four females, who aim to be the first all female crew to row across the Pacific Ocean in 2013. The journey will see us covering over 7500n miles, will take nearly 6 months in total and will challenge us as a team and individually, both mentally and physically. Plus did I mention - we can't wait!! JOURNEY: Picture of the route THE TEAM: OUR SUPPORT TEAM: CHARITY (Boating for Boobies!) Our aim is to raise the awareness of Breast Cancer across UK, America and Australia, through working with two charities; Breast Cancer Care and Coppa Feel. Breast Cancer is on the increase but it can be treatable if caught early enough. Unfortunately for Kris ..... (talk about Coppa Feel set up)..... Each one of us can relate to a close friend or family member that have suffered with the diagnosis, treatment and severity of breast cancer. By simply checking your boobs, can mean a diagnosis is made early and severe treatment is not necessary. We also want the row to prove people that are going through any life challenge, that you can fight and your mind and body can be pushed beyond boundaries you believe. We want the row to provide a platform for inspiration, to show females they can be strong if they believe in whatever goal you set your mind to. BOAT: Pic of the boat so far...
