PROJECT COMPLETE

Great news that we managed to acheive and slightly surpass our target.  We are looking forward to running a fantastic event in January 2014 and this could only be done with the help from those who pledged.

Once again from the Mercury Bay Archery Club - thank you

PROJECT CREATED BY

Mercury Bay Archery Club

AKA "Mercury Bay"

"Formed in 2007 the Mercury bay Archery Club is a small Club based in Whitianga, Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand. We have an outdoor range on South Highway Moewai and an indoor range behind the Mercury Bay Game Fishing Club on the Esplanade, Whitianga. We encourage people to come and shoot socially or competitively at club, District, National or International level. In 2012 we launched an initiative to encourage "At Risk" youth to get involved with archery and become part of our Community. The Mercury Bay Archery Club hosted the Oceania & Commonwealth Continental Championships 5th - 10th November 2012 followed by the 70th Archery New Zealand National Championships & Open 3rd - 9th January 2013. Both of these tournaments were very successful for archery, our club and the community. Now we are also hosting the Archery New Zealand National Championships & Open 4th -10th January 2014 and want to make this a bigger and even better event."
