"My name is Alexandra, I am 12 years old and I am a Rhythmic Gymnast, I was born in Wellington, New Zealand, but now I live in Melbourne, Australia. I've been doing Rhythmic Gym since I was 6 and now I am in level 8 Junior (International Stream). I am a current State Champion and 3 individual apparatus National Champion. My biggest achievement of last year is the fact that I got a gold medal in every competition I have entered, that's including 2 International competitions (one in Spain and one in New Zealand). Rhythmic Gymnastics has become a part of my life and I can not imagine myself without it. My lifetime dream is to win Olympic and World Championship gold. And for that I have to work really hard. My parents are doing their best to make me get there, but sometimes they struggle when it comes to sending me overseas. Rhythmic gymnastics is an expensive sport and in Australia there is no sufficient government funding, not till you become senior and are in top 3. That is why I thought of looking for some help at Thrill Pledge, My coach wants to send me to Spain for a competition and to Croatia to a training camp with World's best gymnasts. I hope I can get some fund for this trip."
